Although today’s society
offers older people many leisure activities and ways to create a new life after
retirement, the deeper questions that arise in this period of life often remain
unanswered.
In this course, we will focus
on the practice of mindfulness; it offers an effective support for our
spiritual lives, no matter what tradition we may come from, that can also help
us deal with pain and suffering.
We also want to take the time
to celebrate the good things about autumn life – experience, spiritual peace
and maturity, joy and humanity – that nourish us and bring happiness.
