Taking a look at our caregiving relationships
Taking personal experience and practice as a basis, this course examines the richness and the risks associated with the caregiver’s role, especially with loved ones (old or suffering relatives or friends). With a delicate, open and loving attitude we will explore the many possible “traps of the mind”, the risks of unhealthy mental states connected to the role and the situation which can drain us of energy and reduce our understanding and compassion. We will discover how to nourish the “skilful means” offered by the Dharma, in order to maintain personal balance and health, and develop the capability to offer a serene and loving presence to the loved one in need.
