Mindfulness Practice for Teachers
This course is designed to help teachers promote attention and concentration in the classroom. The relaxation exercises taught will provide participants with the tools to counteract the stress and strain of their work and fulfil their need to realize their ideal of compassion.
We will explore new ways of:
• Communicating
• Helping children to be aware of their feelings
• Helping children from difficult backgrounds
• Bringing mindfulness and inclusiveness into the classroom
• Resolving conflicts and preventing violence in the classroom
• Taking care of ourselves as a teacher in order to be able to take better care of our students.
This course will be offered in three parts on three weekends:
P. 1: 23.-25. March.; P. 2: 20-22 April; P. 3: 25.-27. May. It is best if you can attend all 3 weekends.
