Mindful Communication
Most of our inner hurts are caused by unloving speech. Focusing on our communication patterns is therefore a very important element of our practice. Through the practice of mindfulness, we become aware of our emotions and reactions that lead us to say things that cause suffering.
We will learn to transform these emotions instead of expressing them in hostile words. Then it is no longer necessary to suppress our anger, or to react compulsively out of anger. It is possible to communicate in a mutually-beneficial way. We will learn about the Peace Treaty and the practice of Beginning Anew. These are two useful and well-defined tools to practice loving communication in family life, at work and in society.
