Finding Inner Silence, Finding Inner Peace
A silent, weekend course offered by Sr. Anabel.
During this
three day retreat we shall have an opportunity to come back to ourselves and
recognize the way of our mind. The practice of silence is a healing practice.
Silence enables us to save energy and we can devote our time to mindful
breathing and walking in order to be able to shine light on our habitual ways
of thinking. Especially when caught in a conflict we can use silence to look
deeply into our own situation and that of the other in order to prepare
ourselves for reconciliation. There will
be Dharma
Talks each day and an opportunity to share our experience of the practice in the daily Dharma
Sharings but apart from this there will be no other talking. Writing is
allowed. Please bring a notebook and pencil in order to write down your
experiences of practice.
