African dance celebrates our deep connection with the elements, the animal world, the seasons and the whole of life.
Through dance we can come into contact with the life within us, recognise restrictions in our movements and where possible free ourselves from them. But we can also just delight in the joy of moving and dancing. Mindfulness and body awareness will provide additional support for our joy.
Special loosening-up exercises will help us to mobilise and relax all the muscles of the back.
Please bring something to lie on (yoga mat or blanket).
