Friar Brian and a group of monastics from the Dominican and Plum Village Buddhist traditions invite you to join us in this inter-religious conversation about bringing meditation and contemplation into our daily lives. It will be an intimate, respectful and authentic sharing among brothers and sisters. In addition, we will enjoy practices in meditation and contemplation from both the Christian and Buddhist traditions. We look forward to learning from each other and deepening our understanding of our own spiritual tradition through the open-hearted discovery of another spiritual tradition. Friar Brian has come regularly to practice with the Plum Village community over the last many years--to our great delight, and this is the first time we have the opportunity to open our lively and profound dialogues with him to the wider community, in this weekend format.
