Although today’s society offers older people many leisure activities and ways to create a new life after retirement, the deeper questions that arise in this period of life often remain unanswered. In this course, we will focus on the practice of mindfulness; it offers an effective support for our spiritual lives, no matter what tradition we may come from, that can also help us deal with pain and suffering.

We also want to take the time to celebrate the good things about autumn life – experience, spiritual peace and maturity, joy and humanity – that nourish us and bring happiness. During the course Annette Schramm will offer a performance of her play „The immortality of the sand cake“, which thematises the topic of dying and the afterlife www.theater-1-8.blogspot.com

  • The EIAB is a nonprofit organization and is recognized by the German state. Because of that donations given to the EIAB are tax-deductible for people living in Germany. The aim of the EIAB is to help people learn ways to transform suffering and bring more joy into their lives. This is why we do our best to keep the fees for our courses as low as possible to ensure that many people can attend. Because of this, we greatly rely on donations for the development of the EIAB.
    Important! Please transfer donations separately from the course fees.
    Listed below are the total contributions per person per night, which includes food, lodging, utilities and tuition. The majority of our rooms have two beds, which means you will share the room with at least one other person. There are no bathrooms in the rooms, but most rooms have a sink. Please indicate your preferred accommodation. We will do our best to honor your request according to room availability.
    Please make your payment at least one week before your arrival day.
